Mississippi Natural Hair Expo

Mississippi Natural Hair Expo (MSNHE) is Mississippi’s premier event celebrating Black beauty and empowerment. Founded in 2015 to address the limited natural hair resources in Mississippi, MSNHE was created to educate, inspire, and empower those who embrace their natural hair. The inaugural event took place in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, before relocating to Biloxi after a few years. Located on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is just a short drive from New Orleans, Pensacola, and Mobile, making it an accessible and exciting day trip for attendees and vendors across the region. Each year, hundreds of eager attendees discover the latest in natural hair and beauty care, shop unique vendors, connect with brand ambassadors, hear from impactful speakers, and enjoy an exclusive MSNHE Swag Bag.

Built on integrity, consistency, and service, MSNHE has grown into a respected leader in the natural hair community across the region. Over the years, notable keynote speakers have included Monique Rodriguez, CEO of Mielle Organics; Sister Scientist, a cosmetic chemist; Obia Ewah, CEO of Obia Naturals; Kim Roxie, founder of LAMIK Beauty; Master Artist Melissa A. Mitchell, founder of Abeille Creations; Aisha Ceballos-Crump, CEO of Honey Baby Naturals; and beauty influencer Romance Cox (Hey Curlie).

More than just a hair expo, MSNHE serves as a dynamic hub where business, culture, and community converge. Whether your passion lies in natural hair, beauty, or Black empowerment, this event is designed to inspire and uplift you. With its intimate, community-driven focus, MSNHE fosters meaningful connections and supports Black entrepreneurs.

While smaller than some expos in larger cities, MSNHE has solidified its place as a respected force within the Black community. As we continue to grow, we are committed to expanding our reach, bringing in more influential voices, experts, and brands, while ensuring a welcoming space for beauty professionals and enthusiasts alike. MSNHE is dedicated to advancing the conversation around Black beauty, empowering change locally and beyond.

We invite you to be part of the movement. Whether you’re an attendee, vendor, sponsor, or supporter, your involvement amplifies the message of unity and empowerment within the Black community. Together, we can uplift our community, create opportunities, and inspire future generations. Stay connected, share the experience, and let’s grow the mission of MSNHE together.
